Why is industry placement important?

How is industry placement measured?

This dashboard examines the proportion of the selected population that was employed in an industry versus all other industries. Since a student entering the workforce may hold jobs in more than one industry after exiting college, industry placement is defined as the industry in which a worker earned the largest total wages in the two years following their exit from a Nebraska public postsecondary.
